Curtin nominated for WA web award - Curtin's website is among the most creative, innovative, attractive and functional websites in WA's university cyberspace - so much so that its been nominated as a finalist in the WA Web Awards.

The University's updated site logically organised more than 800,000 pages and keeps track of more than 200 contributors across the faculties and departments.

Digital Media Unit Associate Director Nick Leigh said the current site was only the beginning of what Curtin plans to create. He thanked Acting Vice-Chancellor Val Raubenheimer for her initial and continued support for the redevelopment.

'We believe collaborative working, sharing experience and skills helps us all particularly in the Perth education sector as we're in a globally competitive market,' he said.

The winner will be announced at the inaugural Edge of the Web Conference in November.
